Who We Are
Wives of Faith is a military wives support organization that was founded in 2006 by a Navy reservist wife and an active Army wife. We exist for the purpose of connecting all military wives including active, retired, Reserve and Guard, who are looking for encouragement and friendships with others sharing similar life experiences.
With more and more service members deploying and families living away from their military installation, spouses are seeking friendships with other women who may better understand their circumstances than civilian friends and family are sometimes able to.
What We Do
Wives of Faith offers quarterly programs and monthly get-togethers which provide a way for military spouses to meet each other, connect for a friendly cup of coffee or conversation over lunch, a play date at the park with the kids, or a heart to heart when times get tough.
It's our hope that through this group, women will be encouraged in their walk with God through the ups and downs of military life and discover the hope and contentment that we can all have through Christ.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where is this group located?
Our charter group was founded in Nashville, but we have chapters in three different states and we continue to get requests for different parts of the country. Check our Local Chapters page for more information.
Can men join this group? What about the husbands who aren't in the military, but their wives are? What about mothers of service members?
Wives of Faith is for women only. We would welcome and encourage men who are looking for support to start a group geared toward the needs of husbands of service members. While we would love to meet the needs and concerns of everyone connected to a service member, unfortunately, we can't and still be true to the vision of what we're trying to do to encourage military wives. Wives of Faith must limit membership to women married to someone in the military.
I was a military wife but we're now retired. I still miss the military community though. Can I be part of Wives of Faith?
Absolutely! We welcome retired military wives to our group. You will offer a special perspective for younger military wives to learn from.
Is Wives of Faith only for women whose husbands are currently deployed?
No. We want to offer as much support as possible to those who are dealing with a current deployment, but we also welcome any military wife, active, Reserve or Guard, to our group, whether they've gone through deployment yet or not. We can all offer something to each other.
How often do Wives of Faith meet?
We meet once a month for official meetings but we encourage members to find time to visit and meet with other wives outside of get-togethers. For example, our Nashville chapter also meets Friday mornings at a local McDonald's. While the kids play, the moms share the best and worst parts of their weeks.
Is childcare provided?
Each chapter is different but all try to have some type of childcare arrangement. Contact the local chapter for more information.
What can I expect at a monthly get-together of Wives of Faith?
A lot of variety! From month to month we offer a chance to visit with other wives, hear short devotionals for encouragement and spiritual growth, and the chance to participate in other activities like care package parties to let our husbands and other service members know we're thinking of them. From time to time, we will also have a speaker in to encourage and inspire us! If there is a need, we will try to help find a solution!
